What is karma really? | An evening with Ringu Tulku Rinpoche
10/01/2025 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Karma is often associated with fate or predestination, some sort of cosmic system of reward and punishment, or to quote Taylor Swift, ‘Karma is the breeze in my hair on the weekend.’
From the Buddhist point of view, karma means action. It is simply the natural law of cause and effect. As the Buddha said:
What you are is what you have been,
What you will be is what you do now.
Join us for an evening with Tibetan Buddhist master, Ringu Tulku Rinpoche, as he explores what karma really is, the practical implications of an appreciation of karma for how we live our lives, and how this can help us find inner peace, good heartedness and humour in an uncertain busy modern world.
