Welcome to Rigpa Bush Telegraph
The Rigpa Bush Telegraph (BT) is a virtual Rigpa Centre that supports and connects people interested in studying and practising meditation and the Tibetan Buddhist teachings, but who are unable to attend a physical Rigpa centre.
Our community network extends throughout regional and remote Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
Meditate with us
Rigpa Australia offers regular drop-in meditation sessions following the authentic lineage of the Tibetan Buddhist wisdom tradition. Bush Telegraph volunteers support these programs.

- Calm Abiding Meditation: 12 noon AEDT Tuesdays – Saturdays

These sessions are run through the Sydney Centre. See: https://rigpa.org.au/guided-meditation-sessions/
Courses, Retreats & Other Events
A range of online courses, practices and events are offered online for everyone interested in exploring meditation and studying Buddhism. BT assists regional and remote students to connect with other Rigpa Australia online offerings and its own programs.
See the Calendar below for upcoming BT events or go back to the Rigpa Australia webpage to find online and in-person events in other Centres.
Our Bush Telegraph Centre
The Bush Telegraph Centre aims to create a warm and welcoming online sangha environment where people who are not able to attend a Rigpa Centre due to their physical location, family or personal circumstances can meet, study, and practice the dharma.
As well as supporting regional and remote students to connect with national programs, and support them on their spiritual path, we also offer opportunities to connect with other students through online sangha events.
