Spiritual Care for the Community

Spiritual Care is the provision of assessment, counselling, support and ritual in matters of a person’s beliefs, traditions, values and practices enabling the person to access their own spiritual resources (Spiritual Health Victoria 2018).
Rigpa is responding to the ever-present need for spiritual care of people experiencing, shock, loss and grief, illness, diagnoses of life-shortening conditions, dying, and death, including support around, funeral planning, post-death care, bereavement, and life-adjustment.
Rigpa Spiritual Care offers person-centred care, in conjunction with medical, psychological, and social services, to those seeking support in healing in the face of life’s suffering.
